IELTS General Reading Test
IELTS General Reading Test is designed to focus on the everyday situation that candidates can face during work life, everyday life, and general discussion.

Reading Section – Type 1
It tests your ability to social survival skills. In this section, the questions are related to everyday life. The short texts will be given in the questions that might be notices, advertisements, or timetables. You have to answer clearly by understanding what they want to ask.
Reading Section – Type 2
It tests your ability to Work survival skills. If you are going abroad for work, then it is important to be familiar with all types of situations such as job descriptions, contracts, staff development, and training manuals. Reading Section – Type 3
It conducts to check your ability in understanding academic topics. The questions in this section are long and more complex and could be taken from academic journals, research, newspapers, books, etc.
